Today's Jokes by Wendel Potter

____________

Hello Americans...it's Friday....let's see, is this a flip day or a flop day for Mitt Romney?  I've lost track.

To prove the water collected from the reactor buildings at the Fukishima nuclear plant is safe, a Japanese government official drank a glass of it on live television....meanwhile in other news from Japan, there have been increased reports of Godzilla sightings.

In spite of the sexual harassment scandal, Herman Cain's popularity has risen this week.  That's according to a new ABC poll.  However, his numbers are down drastically in the D through Z polls.

It's been reported now that two women who are accusing Herman Cain of sexual harassment both received a settlement equal to one year's salary.  Between them, that comes to about $8,000 if you don't include tips.

Herman Cain met with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger yesterday to discuss foreign policy.  The first question Cain asked Mr. Kissinger was, "Which state were you secretary of?"

A Russian space crew has emerged after spending 520 days in isolation in an attempt to simulate life on Mars.  When asked for their reaction, they all agreed, "One red planet is just like the other."

Kate Gosselin has been hired to write a column for a website promoting the use of money-saving coupons.  Hey, just because she got eight kids for the price of 2 doesn't make her an expert.

The NBA says that Kris Humphries' divorce from Kim Kardashian won't affect his chances of   getting a hefty free-agent contract.  Of course, if he had shot her, that would have upped the ante.

Sarah Palin told a GOP group in Florida yesterday that if the Occupy Wall Street protesters really want to make a difference, then they should leave Wall Street alone and occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  Apparently she'd like to see how one goes about that.

Congress passed a resolution re-instating In God We Trust as our nation's motto.  You know, something tells me that God's motto is not reciprocal.

....thanks for reading...have a Happy Friday!
