Katie Couric is leaving the anchor desk at CBS Evening News. I don't know why they call it the anchor desk. It's been afloat ever since Katie took it over.
Katie's replacement will be veteran journalist Scott Pelley. If you're not familiar with Scott Pelley, he's a "60 Minutes" correspondent. Scott's the guy who operates the stopwatch.
The GOP says its new budget plan will make sweeping changes. To Republicans, sweeping change means they're going to appoint Christine O'Donnell as Keeper of the Broomstick.
Oakland Raiders receiver Louis Murphy was arrested for carrying a bottle of Viagra without a prescription. Murphy said the Viagra comes in handy when running a post play.
