Today's Monologue Jokes by Wendel Potter

Virginia's Caressa Cameron was crowned Miss America over the weekend.  Chris Matthews said that he was so caught up in the pageant that he forgot that Miss Virginia was black.




MSNBC's Chris Matthews created a stir Wednesday night by commenting after the State of the Union address that the president's speech made him forget that Obama is black.  And when George W. Bush spoke, he made us forget that he was a president.




Toyota is telling its dealers that the parts to fix faulty gas pedals are on the way.  And the dealers are telling Toyota to step on it.




Sarah Palin told Bill O'Reilly that her favorite vacation spot is in the middle of nowhere.  In other words, it's all in her head.



Rielle Hunter, the ex-mistress of John Edwards, says she wants a videotape back from Andrew Young, a former aide of Edwards who has written a scathing book about the one time presidential candidate.  Ms. Hunter says the tape is very personal and very private and if it isn't returned, she will sue Young in small claims court for late fees.




Willie Nelson canceled a concert in North Carolina shortly after several of his musicians were busted for possession of marijuana and moonshine.  Willie said he couldn't perform because of a pain in his hand.  That came from repeatedly reaching into his wallet to bail each band member out of jail.
